Full Mouth Reconstruction Treatments

Due to technological advances, research and product improvement, custom dental trays and in-office whitening treatments are not always necessary to get the same results as using professional strength, high quality, disposable trays that you can take home and use at your convenience for only minutes a day and see changes with in 1-2 weeks.

Dental bridges are a series of two or more dental crowns fused together that span the gap of an empty tooth socket. Bridges are made from natural-looking porcelain material and customized to blend in with adjacent teeth. They replace one or more missing teeth and restore proper function for biting and chewing.

Gaps, chips, yellow teeth? Porcelain veneers are slim, tooth-colored shells that cover the front part of teeth to enhance their cosmetic appearance. Veneers can simultaneously treat multiple cosmetic issues, including tooth chips and cracks, discoloration, crookedness, or worn-down teeth. They’re often used in smile makeover treatments to improve the “smile zone” or the teeth that show when you smile.

Occlusal adjustments alter the surface of teeth so they come together correctly. Proper occlusion disperses the pressure and force of biting and chewing evenly across all teeth. An even bite also reduces teeth grinding and clenching, jaw pain, and TMJ problems and provides comfort and ease for everyday movements like eating and talking.

Braces effectively straighten teeth when severe tooth overcrowding, jaw problems, and/or complex bite misalignment are present. Braces use a bracket-and-wire system to gently straighten teeth by applying constant pressure and torque. Metal braces are a time-tested and effective orthodontic solution for straightening crooked teeth.

Clear Aligners is an alternative to traditional braces that uses a series of virtually invisible clear aligners to discreetly straighten teeth. Clear Aligners is beneficial and frequently preferred by social teens and professional adults alike. The clear aligners are removable and do not hinder lifestyles, dietary habits, or oral hygiene routines.

Dental implants permanently replace one or more missing teeth. They are made up of a post (tooth root) surgically placed in the jawbone and a restoration (tooth crown) attached to the post with an abutment. Dental implants restore normal biting and chewing power, natural smile esthetics, and oral health for an overall improved quality of life.

Our Smile Rehabilitation Process

Full mouth reconstruction is complex and often requires multiple procedures to restore full health and function to your smile. To ensure your treatment is tailored to all your needs, we first complete a consultation and evaluation at our state-of-the-art practice in Sherwood, OR. During this appointment, we encourage you to discuss the difficulties you’ve been experiencing. We’ll then examine your mouth and x-rays to determine the best treatment plan for your situation. Functional and cosmetic considerations are included in this treatment plan, but so is your budget. We accept multiple insurance providers and partner with third-party financing companies to offer payments that fit within your budget.

While full mouth restoration primarily addresses functional dental concerns, you will experience improvements to the cosmetic look of your smile as well. When planning your treatment, we take into consideration your facial features and symmetry, lip and gumline, and your personal smile goals. Your treatment may take weeks to months as we restore each tooth to proper health. If gum disease or infection in your tooth roots is present, we’ll most likely complete these treatments first to provide a healthy foundation for the rest of your teeth.

Next, we’ll introduce orthodontics, replace missing teeth, and finally complete cosmetic treatments like dental crowns or porcelain veneers. Once your full mouth makeover is complete, your amazing new smile will be revealed, and so will your newfound confidence!

Temporary Veneers - Your Trial Smile - Sherwood, OR

Try Your New Smile With Trial Smile

Preview Your Smile With Advanced Technology

A new smile can have many meanings, and for many Sherwood, OR patients, a new smile can mean more than just one treatment plan. From teeth whitening to changing the physical appearance of the teeth, Dr. Nathan Doyel & Dr. Aanderud are committed to bringing your dream smile to life in a matter of visits.

While a new and improved smile is exciting, it can be nerve-wracking to alter your smile without knowing how it will look, feel, or function. For these reasons, we are proud to offer a trial smile – a procedure to essentially put your treatment plan to the test before any permanent changes are made – to find your picture-perfect smile!

What Is A Trial Smile?

Changing your smile due to dental concerns may not only require multiple treatments, but it may also require multiple tweaks and adjustments to get it perfectly correct. Our trial smile procedure allows for patients to not only see their smile through a smile preview 3D simulation but allows for the attachment of temporary tooth coverings and temporary veneers for you to wear for approximately one week to see if this treatment plan and its details are what you’re looking for.

While these temporary tooth coverings and temporary veneers aren’t as strong as the final placement, our trial smile offers a great way to test how your new smile will look before any permanent changes are made.

Our Trial Smile Procedure

Beginning with a consultation with our dentists, we will discuss your medical history, dental concerns, and smile goals and use our smile preview technology to create a 3D image of your temporary veneers before they’re placed. We will then take impressions of your teeth and the proposed improvements are designed to the very last detail to ensure your trial smile is as much like the real thing as possible.

These temporary veneers are then copied to your mouth using composite resin to gently bond to your current teeth. Once completed, you will have a week or so to enjoy your temporary veneers! You can eat, talk, and smile beautifully with it and show off what your new smile will look like. After wearing your new smile, we can adjust accordingly if needed so your final set of veneers are a perfect, natural fit!

Benefits Of Trial Smile

Making changes to your teeth is a permanent, sometimes life-long commitment. Because of this, we want to ensure we take every step we can in designing your perfect smile. When placing porcelain veneers, a bit of your tooth’s enamel must be shaved down so your veneers have a strong foundation to bond to. However, we don’t want to make these permanent changes if you’re unsure of the procedure or how you will like it overall.

By offering a trial smile to all patients thinking of getting veneers, you have the option to see it, feel it, and use it before we make any permanent changes. If you decide this isn’t the treatment plan for you, it can be easily reversed, allowing our dentists to start from scratch and design a new treatment plan that perfectly hits every dental concern you may be experiencing.
