Tooth Sealants
Tooth sealants are a clear
or white plastic that are placed in the grooves of the
biting surfaces of back teeth. Back teeth have deep grooves
and pits that are very difficult to keep clean. Plaque,
which is a nearly invisible film of bacteria and food,
collects in these grooves. Sealants are an important part
of a preventive dental care program.

“My childhood experiences with the dentist led me to more than 50 years of neglect with my teeth. Looking for a dentist, I found Dr. King and ended up doing a complete mouth restoration over the past year. I was amazed at the pain free technology in use today at Pacific Family Dental, and I will say that I will not let anyone else work on my teeth unless Dr. King is at my side.”
