Dr. Nathan Doyel

Dr. Nathan Doyel has been practicing dentistry in the area since 1997 when he graduated from the Oregon Health Sciences University with honors. Dr. Doyel has dedicated his professional career to providing the best that dentistry has to offer and enhancing the lives of his patients by giving them award-winning smiles.

Dr. Doyel is dedicated to continually updating himself and his practice with the newest and latest techniques. Dr. Doyel is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, the Washington County Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He was selected to the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and received many other honors and awards.

Dr. Doyel enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering for church and civic activities, woodworking, singing and songwriting, and staying fit. Dr. Doyel grew up in Sacramento, California. He served a two year mission for his church, working with the deaf in Chicago. He attended Brigham Young University where he met his wife, Polly. The Doyel's have 5 children: Steven, 14; Charity, 11; Christian, 8; Rachel, 5; and Matthew, 3.

Dr. Ben Aanderud

Dr. Aanderud grew up in Hillsboro and Portland, Oregon. He attended Brigham Young University for 4 years and then Oregon Health Sciences University for Dental School. After graduating from Dental School with honors, he served in the US Army as a general dentist and Captain.

He was stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA where he completed a one year program called an Advanced Education in General Dentistry and then was transferred to Ft. Hood, Tx where he was in the 1st Calvary Division. He was deployed to Kuwait for Operation Desert Spring and in June of 2001 he left active duty to join Pacific Family Dental. Dr. Aanderud speaks fluent Spanish, which he learned while serving a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Argentina.

His hobbies are golfing and spending time with his wife, daughters, and new son. Dr. Aanderud is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He also participates in the Sherwood Chamber of Commerce and likes to stay active in the community. This is one of the reasons he and his family chose to live in Sherwood.

Dr. Wendell King

Dr. King grew up in Beaverton, Oregon. He attended Brigham Young University for undergraduate studies, and Oregon Health and Sciences University for dentistry, graduating with Honors. Dr. King served two years as a missionary for his church in Portugal. He and his wife, Michelle, have been married for over 6 years and have 2 children.

Dr. Justin (JJ) Bittner

Dr. Bittner is looking forward to becoming part of the Sherwood community this summer. He has spent the past 2 years at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin to become a specialist in pediatric dentistry. He is native to the Portland area, and will be returning from Wisconsin with his wife of 8 years and their 2 children.
