Digital X-Rays
Digital Panoramic X-rays provide an overall view of your current dental
condition. Because there are no intraoral sensors with a panoramic
X-ray, this is a very comfortable and easy procedure for patients.
The resulting images can be digitally enhanced and enlarged to aid diagnosis.
Our
Digital Intraoral X-rays utilise Phosphor Storage Plates in
place of x-ray film to produce diagnostic quality intraoral radiographs.
To the patient, these seem identical to traditional film X-rays, but use
less radiation and are 
processed
into a computer rather than using toxic chemicals for development. The resulting
images can also be digitally enhanced to aid diagnosis.
